Hi,

Took these this morning which I shot in raw but no matter what I do I can't get them to lighten without loosing the sky. I have brightened them as much as I can but any more and I destroy the sky detail and colour! I am struggling to get detail in the foreground which I think most of you will say they need.

Is there a way round this please.

Done very quickly in photoshops camera raw, I just raised the shadows a bit lighter and darkened the highlights, I also added a gradient for the sky in one shot and a little local ajustment brush in the other.

Hi I am using Paint Shop Pro a very old version. Lol

Mmm! I used to use PSP many years ago but just can't remember how it worked but perhaps now someone may come along who has more experience with it. Like many on here I use LightRoom 4 & Photoshop Elements 10 - I also have CS4 but find this is a bit/lot overkill for the PP I want to do.

You'll find far more web help (including this forum) using the mainstream software and very little for the PSP but I know it's all money this photography business but :lol:
