Help with paypal.. limted/closed account

Hey guys.

Ive got really "ticked off " with this one.

paypal has chosen to close my 2 accounts which ive had for around 8 years just for buying and selling for personal use. they have deemed them as "high risk" because they are linked together?!? they said i can have access to the money which is in the account £140 for 6 months and they also said im banned from opening up another account! and they cant explain to me the reasons why, they just said.. thats the way it is!

now i have done nothing wrong. i have not accured any debt/ descrepencies or an single bit of bad feedback.

i use ebay to pretty much buy everything! and also other places on the net as paypal is the easiest way to buy on the internet. also because i nolonger have a paypal account i cant sell on ebay ( only sell personal items.. not for business) so i pretty much am poofared!:bang:

is there anything i can do to get back using ebay? is there alternatives?

please help :(

not sure theres any other way to sell on ebay now, as paypal is a mandatory payment option as far as im aware. Have you tried phoning paypal? I had problems a while back and emailing them was useless, every reply i got back was completely irrelevant and didnt answer anything in my emails i'd sent them. I managed to get hold of a phone number after a lot of digging around.
surely if you are able to link the accounts then thats allowed? why else would they give you the option of linking them in the first place?
 
Click on Call Us here and they give you the number to call them on plus a PIN valid for 60 minutes.
 
Yep, ive spoken to 3 different poeple in "limitations" and they all tell me the same... which doesnt seem to be much. just saying your account is linked with another and we deem you as high risk....sorry but theres nothing you can do about it!.

i put in an apeal and that just came back as denied...
 
could you have them unlinked? if the fact they're linked is the only problem
 
Can you unlink the accounts and reduce the 'risk'?

If you search the net you'll come up with enough examples of this problem with Paypal to sink the Titanic. The common thread through all seems to be the total intransigence of Paypal "That's the way it is, nothing we can do" I suppose you could try legal means to recover your money but it would cost you more than they have kept and you'd definately lose any account with them then. Wish I could offer a solution but I can't, sorry.
 
Simple, open one with a different email address. Mine was suspended due to paypals stupidity so opened a company one and another personal one.

You can't use the same bank account on 2 accounts, you can use the same postal address.
 
Yes, two of my 3accts have sane address but all are different bank details.
 
a good reason you will be as high risk is becuase of fraud

why do you need 2 accounts ???

if you have a buisness a and personal there wouldnt be a issue on top of that you say you almost buy eveything off ebay again samew thing if you are spending and selling alot they may see you as a high risk that you might be commiting fraud

so i see why they have closed the accounts

if it was me i would not spend as much and find alternativs like amazon and other places on the web ie use google shopping

if you desperatley need a account ask a family member to set one up and then put your card on file (not sure if you can ) or get them to put theres on and you trasfer what you spend
