Help with our Daughters A level art, film photography

She has a very good eye.
She likes Retro and wants to do some of this Lomography type stuff so I need help and ideas please.
We have Digital Canon 650d with the usual bits and bobs
Now after scouring the local charity shops and a massive investment of £30 we now have the following film stuff
Olympus OM10 with a set of lenses 50mm, 70-300 and 24mm and man adapt
Canon Eos500 with 35-90 lens
Canon Eos750 couldnt leave it as it was £1!
Minolta 110 zoom MK2
Kodak Instamatic 133
Looking for a Polaroid type and was going to get an Instax for her Birthday in a few weeks.
So thats our stuff just need some ideas and inspiration, I feel she would love the one were people mod the camera and it has a perfect shot but the colours are wrong is it infered but havent a clue how to do this.
Oh is the 750 a better camera than the 500?
 
for the colour pics use slide film ( e6 reversal ) and get it processed as print film ( c41 )

For odd colour casts as donut says try cross processing. A lot of labs will allow this, but they sometimes charge extra for it.

Alternatively, by the sounds of it your daughter would enjoy alternative developing methods. How about developing a film at home in a mixture of instant coffee and vitamin C which also gives some crazy results.
 
Type Lomography in Google and select images.

Thanks havinga look now, I will have to get one of those developer tank thingys now and try to remember how to use it LOL
 
If she is going to be shooting a lot of black and white, it makes a lot of sense to develop at home. Or hopefully her College will have a darkroom....lots still do, so they would have all the facilities she needs.

Black and white is easy to develop films and very cost effective....doesnt take long to recoup the cost from savings from lab fees. Colour is a different matter and personally too much hassle to develop at home.
 
Some bad news on the Canon Eos500 with 35-90 lens I bought it for the lens so I could use it on the 750, took it off today and the rear optic has a couple of deep scratches on it so off to look for another, just loads film in to the OM10 so off to do a few shots at the weekend
