hi all
so took delivery of a used tokina 100mm
on the info display ive got my iso
but im not getting any aperture reading just F EE
auto focus is working , but I cant take the photo
any clues?

A bit more info needed. Knowing the camera would help :)

Have you set the aperture to f22 or whatever the smallest f stop is?
 
If it's a Nikon mount you have to lock the aperture on the lens to f32 (in green) using the little switch.
 
okay so set aperture to f32 on lens
and all the info has come up
I can change all the settings as normal
looks like problem sorted
why is this

Probably because you can't use the whole range if it is set to a lower aperture.
It happened to me with the Nikon 80-200 - and then I read the instructions :)
