there must be an easier way than this! Spent hours last night sorting through 500 photos, chose the best ones (80+), moved a few sliders about, no cropping required.

They are a mix of raw and jpegs, landscpae and portrait.

Whats the best way to multiprocess them for uploading for printing? I just want standard size prints at the touch of a button :bang:

Any guidance gratefully received :)

Note to self: must change my avatar back as I dont look like that really!!

well I'm out for breakfast now...hopefullly on my return someone can help me?:'(

Multiprocess? Do you mean process multiple shots in one go?

What software are you using?

adobe lightroom is one option, its great as you can select a large number of photos, apply any number of settings, sync, and also do things like printing etc

If you just want to resize them all I use ifanview, I just tell it what size I want the width to be and away it goes, does however many you load to the window as a batch, I think you would need to do the portrait ones separately though.

you just set the longer or shorter side and problem solved

ive got pse 6 and yes px18 I mean process multiple shots in one go.......

whats infanview then?

Canon's Digital Photo Professional that came with your camera might be best for processing a batch of raw images. You can edit each one, copy and paste changes to others, etc. and then once you're happy tell it to go away and process all of them and output the results to a new folder all ready for uploading.

I doubt if I can do the just the one action with a mix of raw and jpeg then.

will look at DPP first I think........
