thank you Richard. Well i can safely say that i do not suffer from GAS, so i'm firmly in the camp of 'let's see what i can get out of my kit with practice and experimenting' .. same with golf (a little off topic but similar).. i know plenty of guys who have been playing for 20 years and they seem to 'need' the latest drivers and irons, yet they can't get their handicap below 18 :shrug:

Tim explains perfectly about experimenting and learning what kit combinations will produce and gets to know their limitations and how to bring the best out of them. Like he said earlier.. practice, practice, practice :thumbs:

I've fianally got my 7d to work to how I want it (for the dog running towards me scenario) and they are pretty much all in focus, just a few that aren't;
