Help with D300 raw files on CS2 please

Can anybody help me with my D300 raw files

I have a D200 and a new D300 and I cannot get my D300 raw files to open in CS2 :thinking:

I have no problems with the D200 raw files at all ..

... when I click to open the D300 raw picture files it come up with " could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document "

Am I missing something that anybody can help me with

Errr , another daft question

Why is my D200 raw photo 15.1MB yet the D300 raw is only 11MB .. thanks again

youve probably got compression turned on on the D300
 
I believe you can convert Nikon D300 Raw Files to Digital Negatives (DNG) with a free DNG Converter from Adobe... and then open it with Camera Raw plugin
hope it helps :)
 
If I remember rightly, the D300 is not supported for CS2.

You will need as has been said to use the DNG Converter.
 
I had the same problem. I am not much cop with PS so I now use NX. Its slow but then so am I!
