help with cs3

i seem to have changed a setting in this and everytime i open an image in cs3 it is very orange/ reds are orange.

the only i can get the correct colours is by going 2
view
proof colours
and turning on proof colours.

i have cs3 on 2 other machines with no problems ,

cannot get this sussed

i have tried reinstalling cs3 but with no change

Andy,
open the PS colour settings box on one of the "good" machines. (Edit>colour settings) and note the settings. Check the same settings are showing on the comp that isn't working correctly.
You can only reset the warnings dialogue AFAIK.

I agree totally, sounds like you have selected a different colour profile.

i have but i cannot get it back no matter what i do.
i set the profiles the same as my other machine but it still opens the images bright orange.

as said i even reinstalled it but it seemed to remember my settings:bang:

will just keep working at it and try 2 get it sorted

when i change the profile it will not change the colour of the image, the only way i can change the image is by going 2

and clicking this so a tick comes beside it

and now i have the correct colour.

just borrowed cs4 and it doing the same thing,,aaaahhhhhhh

I suspect it is something to do with your monitor/graphic card settings....... try and set those to default and try again.

If all else fails just default the lot and go from there, alternatively hit it with a hammer!!! :bonk::bonk::bonk:
