Hi all I'm trying to get a small home studio set-up.Going down the off camera flash as I have 3 speed lights.Have asked a few questions on this set up but now I need a studio backdrop stand and background material.Have trawled e-bay looked on Amazon have seen several kits.Have seen a few stands its the quality of the backdrops that concerns me really. So it's a question of where to find a reasonably priced backdrop that is of a reasonable quality.I'm limited with space so can't stretch to the 3mtr wide setup have to be around a 2mtr set-up.So any advice would be appreciated.

What bgs do you want?

Pop ups?
Canvass?
Muslin?
Vinyl?

Cross poles can be a problem with home visit stuff. So don't go for 3 section incert poles.

Get a Manfrotto Telescopic. It will fit in any size room.
Thank you will look into the poles. As for bgs don't really now the pros and cons of the different materials or the advantages and disadvantages. So advice on bgs would be helpful.

i would recommend the lencarta background support kit , its pretty cheap, good quality and you can make it as wide as you wish and comes in a nice case for easy storage.

I currently use muslin cloth which is easy for storage but you have massive creases in it.

you can get some 1.3m x 11 paper roll from an online dealer in the colour of your choosing for about £30 and i would say thats a good place to start thats hassle free.
