Hi imp kind of new to editing and I have Photoshop x2 was wondering is it worth me getting x4 or getting light room 4 like what is easiest to use as I have never edited my pictures b4 thanks for youre input :)

How much money do you have to spare?
GIMP is free AFAIK (not used it), PS5 or 6 when its out is serious money, PS Elements 10 is a LOT cheaper. LR4 is probably your best bet if you can afford it and shoot a lot of images. It depends how creative you want to get with your images.
 
What do you mean by x2? Do you mean Elements 2.0 or CS2? Theres a big difference between them.
If your doing or planning doing a lot of image manipulation (swapping heads etc) then look at photoshop CS5 or CS6 or Elements 10 (or the free Gimp)
If your only doing a basic editing or large numbers of images, check out Lightroom 4 but be advised you need at least vista to run it and a decent spec computer for it to run well.
 
ok thnx i will give lr4 a go and as for x2 its photoshop x2 happy days :)
