hi

any help would be great.

i have just purchased a fuji s5700 form a well known auction site, included in the package are some filters and lenses.

trouble is i haven't a clue when or where to use them.

i am brand new new to digital photography and have only used a casio exilim s770 before.

the lenses are :

macro +1,+2,+4 lens (i konw these are for close pics but do you use them together or individually???)

Polarising filter

Sky 1A filter

lens hood.

all this plus lowepro bag , tripod , all leads, manual, 2gb tosiba sd card, all for £83 inc postage , all in first class condition.

any help would be great.

thanks

macro's can be used individualy or together, polarisng filter for reducing reflections of water and brighness of sky.

Skylight to be used to protect the lens ,some people don't use them, but if clumbsy the are a godsend and stop you getting finger marks on the lens, which when you wipe off could scratch the lens.

The skylight some-times add a little warmth to to picture.

Good deal you got there!!

The macro lenses I would expect you use one at a time, but there are no rule, so if you can put more than one on, then see what happens.

have fun.

yes they are attachments , the camrea came with an adapter ring that screws to the steel part of the lens cover.

the actual zoom part of the camera doesn't move out so lenses can be fitted.

had a bit of play today, what a mine field ,loads to take in , the manual could be used as a door stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!

going to keep an eye on the basics forum to see what i can pick up.
