I have a nikon raw file in the attachment which is a photo of a friend taken last week. I like the image but it has an issue. In the foreground there is a piece of out of focus bush/grass covering part of her coat/top that i would like removed before I make further adjustments.

Are there any PS experts out there who can help remove this tricky item? I only use Lightroom for contrast and exposure etc so I don't have a clue. Any help or even advise would be appreciated.

I think the light bit by the cuff is behind (the background?)
 
It's above her top button on the coat crossing part of her chest, stomach area and her pocket which her hand is in
 
It's almost like flare but I'm sure it's an out of focus piece of grass or something

No wonder we couldn't find it, I though my eyes were going.... :D
 
Done very roughly as I've been out all day, this is about 2 or 3 minutes. I duplicated the layer and darkened it, then masked all except the light bit (to make it darker) that messed up the colour on the jacket and tee-shirt so I painted the colour back in on a new layer set to colour, there was a bit of masking to get the gold chain back to gold, and a very rough bit of burning and dodging. If you take the time to do it properly it could look miles better, but I just don't have the time to play.
Now to get my pics off the card and start on those..... Now wheres the card... :thinking:

If you PM me your email I can send you the full size jpeg. As I say it needs some more work but it's a start maybe.
