Ok another update !!!! I have just found one of my old laptops with a broken screen, I have taken out the hard drive and put it into the laptop with windows xp on, ok so far so good, now I am going through the process of re-installing vista through full destructive recovery, if all well and good will it find my wireless adapter etc
