Ive un-installed all adobe software and re-installed it but Bridge still wont work.

I've opening the Event Viewer in Windows 7 and this is what I've got.... (there's allot more I didn't realise things had crashed as much)

Memory or hard drive fault.

Could well be what Ricky1980 has said. If you search for the word "memory" you will find the Windows inbuilt memory diagnostic tool.

You can use Seatools for Windows to test the hard drive. It is free & you can download it from http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/seatools-win-master/

If the laptop passes both & you have the recovery or operating system DVD it might be worth thinking about reloading the OS & starting again from scratch.

Exception code: 0xc0000374 normally indicates a failure in the heap ( this would be generally asscoaited to an add on of the software being launched ( normally a plugin in the case of photo editing ).

The problem here lies in that uninstalling bridge wont remove all the files. there will be registry entries left and may even be some bridge files and adobe files left over in windows folders ( program files and program files x86 ).
i had almost similar problem with bridge that it failed to recognize any association to photoshop ( and im still having issues which seem to be common according to adobes website with opening raw files from bridge ).

however!....... ntdll.dll is an nvidia driver
have you done any updates recently ... simply because if you have a faulty display driver and adobe is heavily reliant on graphics then that is why its crashing.
Update your nvidia drivers ( best way is to uninstall the old ones in safe mode then install clean ones.
then try adobe bridge again after that.
you can also turn off enable GPU rendering .. makes things a tad slower but i know i have a constant issue with nik plugin crashing with GPU rendering on , by disabling it , i dont get any problems ( again its back to a graphics card issue ).

Why would bridge then work in safe mode though?

I'm trying to do what I can so I don't have to reboot the stupid thing! It only has to last me till
December then I can get the new custom machine .... Starting to think mac as they don't have these stupid issues

it would work in safe mode becasue in safe mode you graphics drivers arent installed so its using software rendering rather than GPU
