Wonder if anybody can help me solve a problem with Monopod screwed to tightly in to bottom of camera, either the thread in side camera is turning or screw locating on top Monopod is. Thanks in advance.

Can you cool down the monopod thread. Maybe with frozen peas or something to see if that will make the thread contract
 
Try pulling apart gently as you turn it may need two pairs hands. :shrug:
 
Thanks to you both, actually got it, but had to hacksaw off monopod to get to offending part and thankfully it was only a cheap one and it was the culprit.
 
Just on a side note for others, what i have in my standby box of tools is a jumbo air duster spray. If i need to cool something down quickly, i invert the can and spray it, supercooled liquid comes out and freezes the offending item, causing it to shrink.

Just do not point it at flesh as it will kill it (Lost the feeling in the end of one of fingers for months :eek:)

Have been out twice this week with my son(up on holiday) saw some every morning but light very poor and roe keeping their distance in open fields and I'm to old to crawl about.
