was prompted to install adobe flash player update as usual
but it didnt look as it normally does
when prompted to put in password i changed my mind and told it to cancel
when i then opened up my safari which uses google as my default for the internet
it had changed to yahoo!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i went into safari- preferences - general tab
and google is my default web browser
but when im looking for somthing now on what used to be the google page it has a small shield with the words safe finder above the box you type into
then when you type in your search question it opens it up in yahoo

how can i get back to google

I'm guessing this is an iMac/Macbook?

If it was a PC, I'd say download MalwareBytes and run a scan. Or better still, re-install the OS from scratch. I've no idea what the payload of the fake flash update you downloaded was, but the browser hijack could be just the tip of the iceberg.

assuming he's talking about mac (although not entirely clear), adobe flash installer needs admin rights and will prompt.
