Help, printer set up problem

Hi people, I have a Canon Pro 1000 and a recently new M3 iMac,
Trying to set up the wireless and it is driving me up the wall , Tried everything I know,
Any suggestion's on how to get these working please ?
Must be bad as I even said please

I'm guessing its not working then via the WPS button method on the router?

Panic over , I even surprised myself and have now managed to get it to print , YAY

Just an observation based on Mac matters that I have heard & read about. NB I am on Windows

The primary cause, it seems, is Airprint causing printer problems. The solution is to ensure that the 'full driver' is installed not the Airprint one.

Second this. Airprint is good... if you only want to print from your iPad or iPhone (or Mac) without worrying too much about fancy bits. If you want all the proper bits of a printer driver you want the "full driver" as Box says. When I installed my printer, the clue was that the driver did not say Airprint! (The penalty, I guess, is you can't print direct from iphone/iPad!)
