Incredibly frustrated! :(

I purchased (at the start of the year) an Epson R3000, plus (apart from some beautiful Permajet Fine Art papers) some Ilford papers which seemed a good deal at the time, especially considering that I'm only just starting out printing stuff myself, albeit for camera club / accreditation / international salons.

Does anyone have a printer profile for R3000 + Ilford Premium Plus Pearl Paper 270g/m2 or R3000 + Ilford Inkjet Photo Satin Paper 200g/m2 as I can't find it on their website (or at least the descriptions don't match what I've got?)

A link would be very helpful, as I'm not 'tech' minded, thank you :)

Thanks Andrius, I've already tried that, I'm still waiting for a response :(

why you cant simply delete a message is beyond me!

How interesting.... I received an email response from Ilford saying :

"Thank you for the enquiry. Unfortunately this is not one of our papers and cannot help you with your profiles.
Sorry
Helen"

No wonder there was a deal to be had if this is the kind of service they offer, even if their website is on the back of the paper!!! :(

How bizarre that she/they are in denial of their own product!!! Perhaps you should reply to her attaching photos of the face & back of the packet asking her to identify the manufacturer if not Ilford.

If made for them by another mill it is still their product........is it not!

PS can you post the Product Code on the packet as there are definitely photo satin products listed on the Ilford site.

PPS I have found ref to Photo Satin 235gsm paper in the Omnijet range, it is possible that the papers you bought are no longer current range but why they cannot ID it as such and offer you at the very least a generic profile is poor service!

I found this "full" list http://ilford.com/printer-details-profiles/epson/stylus-photo-r3000

But going through the 'Read more' links none are for the papers you list and the others mention logging in to 'post comments' whatever that means.

I suspect those papers are discontinued and the R3000 printer is newer than the last time it was in their listing.........but surely they could at the very least give you some guidance.

It may be that you need custom profiles created......either that or buy a current paper that has published profiles!

I think I might be going to Permajet!!!

Thanks for the response Box Brownie :)
