Help please with msata ssd

Hi all, I have fitted a 128gb Msata ssd to my Dell XPS one 2710. The drive shows up in device manager as working fine, but does not register as a drive in windows explorer, or under my computer, does any one have any ideas as to why?

Check disk management. If it shows there just right click and assign a drive letter .

Because the Intel drivers use it as a cache and it doesn't appear as a second drive. What I did was bin it and replace with a 256gb mSata, which I installed the os onto. I then used the 1tb conventional drive for data. this is much quicker but does require a reinstall

If you fief it yourself rather than had fired from factory you may just need to create a partition in disk management. However an extra 32gb drive probably isn't that much use so I'd recommend you install the Intel drivers so you can use it as a cache boost drive. This may also require a reinstall...

All i want to do is use it as a cache for photoshop, but if it doesnthave a drive letter how can I set it up as such, don't want to have to reinstall the OS as I only have a recovery disc from Dell, which I assume won't work on the ssd?
