Hi. I am with Photobucket " I know" to post a photo on this section I have to copy and past a url!
I am offered a choice of five. Which one do I use?
email &im. direct, HTML, IMG, or IMG thumb. I have tried IMG which works on another forum I frequent and it don't work on here.
Any one know please.
 
Peter, I use Photobucket, and I've always used the IMG code. Not sure what IMG thumb is... It's under Share Links, one click on the code and it copies it (somehow) into the paster buffer.

Image thumb just shows a thumbnail of the image which is is clickable to show the full image.
 


If you copy the IMG link from Photobucket and paste into the TP page it should show up like this

That's weird, I post from the bucket occasionally
You aren't trying to up load massive files are you?

Please be mindful of the sizes you are posting though.
A forum limit of 1024px on the longest side applies.
And please be aware there are people still on slow
internet connections.
They soon "click away" if a page takes too long to load.
So I would suggest that the file size also stays below 500kb.
 
I think Peter was pasting the linky from photobucket into the "add image" popup rather than just pasting it into the reply box...

Ah yes that could be it, and not the first time some has tried to do that either. ;)

So to re-cap, Peter, copy and paste that link straight into the reply box, and not into the add image box
(that is the "mountain" next to the smiley face ) (y)
