hi i am just starting out and wanting to now whats the best thing to help take good pics of people do i use a stand and backdrop background or a photo tube and what lighting do i need and were can i get them from and how much is there any think else i would need apart from my camrea

please help a person starting of thanks

Welcome to the forums and the bets advice I can give you is to just get out there, find friends/family who like having their photos taken and just go from there and you'll answer your own questions about what you need and lights etc by figuring out what you like.

There is no right and wrong at the end of the day, just have fun finding your own style.

ok thank you very much i am at the min waiting for my new camrea to come then take it from there i have a lot of family members that like havin there photos taking i also have two boys one 8 and one 7 months so going to practice on them they love havin there pic taking
I have also been looking and some one said reflector lights is a good thing to use ?
could some one tell me what is the best thing to use on the computer to edit the photos ect..... as i am not sure what to use thanks
once i have taking some pics i will post them and see what people think I have getting a Nikon D3000 10.2 MP Digital SLR Camera - Black (Kit w/ AF-S DX VR G 18-55mm... but i am just starting out and the shop said that would be fine for what i want it for ?

You want to be using natural light as much as possible especially on a baby.
