Can someone please help me with my problem. It is taking 10 mins to open 3 photos in photoshop. as soon as I try to upload them the tool bar says not responding, then I have to wait 10 mins before they show. I have uninstalle and re-installed this and it is still happening. I am also getting a message saying an Intel 4 or Dual Core processor is required. I have a dual core processor and never had this problem before. At he end of my tether. as you can imagine its taking days to amend 500 photos :bang: Thank you

Make sure no other software is running and try again.
Check your hard drive for available space and try to delete some old files. Photoshop does use available hard drive space as "swap space".
Try opening one file only.
Might need a good defrag and clean-up of your hard drive.
Sounds like a general housekeeping issue than a specific PS issue.

It may depend on your CPU, but it's very possible that your computer cannot handle the performance of the photo file sizes being loaded into the program. Many times if the file size is too large, it will have the same result, if the computer cannot handle it. Just as a test, you could dumb down the size, quality, or DPI of the photo (to reduce file size) just as a test to see if that works. If not, then it's not the problem.
