Help on editing a photo to 5x7

Hi all, I would like to use this photo to put inside a pre-made Christmas card and the size needs to be 5x7.

It needs changing to a portrait size, but this is the best I can do and it does look great. I think you will need to shrink the image first if possible.

Appreciate any help on this :)
 
Yes, the cards ive got are all portrait ones :( damm it might have to try another photo then.
 
The one you have done is about as good as it's going to get I'm afraid, have you got one from a similar angle with the top of the womans head in? if so you could add that and then add some background above to buy yourself a little extra width.

To be honest, I dont think, if you give the card with the photo inset in the inside peps after reading the verse/message, wouldnt notice having to rotate it :thumbs: then they can still frame it :thumbs:
