Hi,

I am a nubbie to photography and tp.
I took this image while diving a few weeks ago. It was taken with a compact waterproof camera, which doesnt do RAW. The colours, shading, light is all wrong, even I can see that. There are also spots where the light has reflected of particles.
I think it could be a nice image, i know its never going to be a good photo, if I new how to use PS , however I dont have a clue where to start. I have use of PS CS4 and want to learn it.

Can anyone guide me how to make this better, more natural?
Or is it beyond help with having so much wrong?

Can't believe that such an improvement can be made in a little over 2minutes.

Im away for a few days but i'll be giving it a go when I get back home.

The problem with Photoshop, others make it sound intimidating.

A lot of photography stuff can be done with Adobe Camera Raw and Elements that Lightroom does, but with less cash layout.

Too many people use the tools in a long way round method just 'cos they are not shown the 'tricks of the trade'. To me its something new I can learn, literally, every day.

But for photography all that difficult stuff is not usually needed, just the odd tweak here and there.
