Yes
can not get the mouse right click button to work in LR , when on web seems a few people are having this problem, what I need is help to get a solution. any ideas of how to fix.

May seem silly but turned pc off & on again?

I work in IT so I always suggest that first.

But if the right click works in other applications ok I've no idea.

I'm on ver 5 so obviously haven't had this problem.

Have Adobe advertised a solution or admitted there's a known fault?

LR had this problem way back if I remember rightly, can't remember now if it was something to do with process handles? can't remember the fix (if there was one)

only just bought new mac on thursday loaded it with lightroom and was working my way through putting my files into collections lightroom when i found this problem? thought i was doing something wrong argh

Think I have solved the issue, for some reason you can turn off this right click. I have just gone into the system preferences icon which is the geared icon on the dock and found the mouse preference and ticked the box so i could use the right click, simple hey. must never of been ticked from the start. live and learn.

just seen your answers after posting, thanks anyway. I am sure i will be coming back for more help!

Secondary click is off by default in OS X. In many apps, you can press and hold the button to emulate a right click - try it on a dock icon to see what I mean.

If you are using the Mighty Mouse, in the system preference there is an
extended panel for it where some applications may be added or left out
of it's functions.

May be LR has some options of its own in its preferences.
