help needed

Hi, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section or not but here goes ... lol

in the next week or so my sister will be taking some photo's for me, she is studying photography at college, has photoshop & digital camera at home, but so far she hasn't done any portrait photo's.

I'd really appreciate some advice for the photo's, I'd like them to be for my husband, preferably me semi naked ie: where you can see/assume I'm naked but I don't actually have to be like bare shoulders and legs, or laying down, with something covering all my bits lol.

my problems are:
1. I'm not very photogenic at all
2. I'm not exactly slim so a flattering pose would be good
3. background, I have a large projector screen which could provide a white-ish background but the bottom of it is about 4 ft from the floor, or at my mum's house she has a few chaise lounges (sp?)
5. my nose is wonky too, so should I look to one side rather tha straight on?

also I would probably have my shoulder length hair wet.
my best feature is my eyes, I'd be using mascara & eyeliner/eyeshadow to emphasize them, but should I use any other make up to hide uneven skin tone or stop me looking ill etc? or leave that to my sis to photoshop?

any advice/suggestions plz?

sorry. i bet our much more photogenic than you think you are.
you are CURVY (always nice in a female i reckon).
if your curvy, face down on the chase longue(sp) bare shoulders back and boobs resting on the top edge.arched back and butt covered with something slinky and suitable. have you not watched how to look good nekid?
as for the nose.turn your face to the angle which makes it look its best.keep the make up SUBTLE.exentuate the gorgeous eyes , not become a panda.
soft focus /softening in photoshop will make you look suitably glamorous.
these are not the opinions of the management etc.

wheres all the guys that shoot b**s and t**s when you want them.sorry, glamour photographers.;)
come on you lot, help her out.
 
Thank you Inaneredstripe, a balaclava would be a dramatic change to the paper bag I usually wear :)

how to look good naked? is that a tv programme? if its not on cartoon network then I ain't seen it I'm afraid lol YEP my kids ruined my figure & stole the TV from me :(

I did find a link in one of the tutorial posts which I've saved on my fave list, it was a list of 35 do & dont's I think, was a good read. But still would love more advice .... anyone? ;)
 
tv prog. suprised you aint seen it.gok wan(sp) fronts it.takes laydees with a lack of confidence and shows them how to present themselves better , basicaly.there have been a few bigger girls on that have taken some stunning photos.
as for the tv with the kids. bveat em soundly and take it back.:D
realy suprised that more people havent been on to give more opinions. theres enough of us on here that do portrait work surely.
