I am not up on cameras in any way and trying to learn is a nightmare I am after some help on what sort of camera would be able to do what I need so I can make it. I will start with what I think I need then hope you can tell me how to improve it. I am looking for a camera that has no ir filters or if it does moves out the way when it goes into night mode and sees in black and white I need some thing along the lines of a sony 1/2 to 2/3 ccd module about 2 mega pixels. this is so I can make my own night vision camera I have made one already out of a old cctv module and can get to about 180 meters but the quality starts to die out after about 100meters and I have no depth in the picture either. if some one can put things in a laymen terms this may help any help would be great thank you
