Help needed

Hi , is there anything i could do to salvage this shot as i think its got potential
but my PS skills aren't really up to much so any advice greatly appreciated.
Shot in jpeg on a wet dull day through a wire fence

Hi,

hope you don't mind but I had a little play and this is what I came up with:-



I made a small crop, Nik Software Color Efex Polarizer, Nik Software Color Efex Foliage, Nik Software Sharpener Pro and then cloned out some of the worst rain spots all in PSP X2.

This was only a quick play, could do with a lot more work on the grass.

Adjusted curves; selectively sharpened the bike & rider

Colour corrected the image by the numbers using curves, converted to smart object and used high lights and shadows layer. Gamma adjustment in levels. Inverted image (Black& white) overlayed in overlay mode.
Painted in grass on a colour layer and blurred to take the edge off, masked and adjusted the bike with dodge & burn (non destructive layer masked). Adjustment to saturation and sharpened using "photocopy" filter and smart sharpen to finish.

Thank you all for taking the time to do the edits much appreciated, & it gives me a few ideas to have a go on the full size one myself .
