Help needed.

One good thing that's come out of this...................you guys now know a REALLY good place to hide the diamond rings you've got your wives for Christmas! ;)

 as if...

Glad you got it sorted though

If only there was a manual, eh? 'Teenagers for Dummies' ...

Don't do anything at all - he's got to make his own decisions - you need to have confidence in his ability to sort things out himself.
Remember he's at the age when he's just starting to feel 'grown-up', if you insist on controlling his life for him (that's the way he'll see it, right or not) he'll distance himself from you.

It's called growing-up and you have to accept it.

Not strictly true Rob ... sometimes we all need help with the decisions life throws at us ... however 'grown up' we think we are ...;)

Sometimes experience ... told wisely ... just helps the decision making process ... and can also make us feel all soft and cuddly & loved ...:D

:p

I never knew there was a compartment in the back of the PS2.............

Unfortunately, Adam has something called Dyscalculia which apart from the fact he cant do maths, also means that his brain cant sort out sequences of events......distance, spacial awareness etc, unable to balance money in his mind, cant look into the future etc. although his IQ is normal for his age.

So I sort of have to keep a special eye on him a bit more than other kids, because to all intents and purposes he is the same as the others, but cant actually run his life properly. Mind you, what teenager can! LOL :D

LOL well if he turns out like you, Id be more than happy!! ;)

Get some nice images of cancer ridden lungs. Google images is you friend and some of some nice healthy lungs. I find that usually works a treat.

OOh Janice... do you fancy looking after me too then!
I have Dyscalculia too & Im never on time for anything .... not ever!
It means I also have trouble with the technicalities of photography too ... I undertsand it perfectly when things are explained, but I still have probs retaining it which is incredibly frustrating!

With regards to the smoking thing, the tobacco may, or may not be his but, he sounds a good lad, so whatever, it will all come out in the wash as they say!
My son got into smoking, tried the 'happy baccy' too for a short spell.
He even bought himself some Cannabis seeds off the net and happily grew one in his bedroom, he was fanatical about looking after it and it really worried me for a while. The plant began to die and his girlfriend bought him a replacement ... a Bonsai tree!
He's now just as fanatical about looking after that, the happy baccy is a distant memory and he's trying his best to quit the smoking!

Do you also have the thing when you see the hands on a clock back to front? That's one of the most annoying things - that and when you transpose two of the numbers in a phone number and can't call someone back!

Glad it went well Janice.

Ah! Ha! ... theres more of us, lol!
At school, I could never read numbers on the blackboard either, they used to sort of 'dissolve into each other'!

On the plus side I get away with murder when I just cant be arsed to get up!
