Evening all

I have recently been having fun using my new Nikon D5200 dslr. However i was at a wedding using it the other day and the flip screen that usually rotates automatically has now stopped. lucky that its the "right way up" that is if I flip out the screen its the right way up. however if I want to flip the screen and have it in line with the body its upside down. I have checked the settings with no luck. checked online for anyone asking about similar problems but with no luck.

So does anyone have any ideas or experiences with this? am I being a complete idiot and theres a combination of buttons i have to press? any help would be great.

Thanks Guys/Gals.

Hi Kendo

Thanks for getting back to me. I have just checked what you mean. Auto image rotation is set to on. However think i should make myself a bit clearer on the issue.

The problem isn't the camera rotating pictures i.e. portrait/landscape. its purely the screen. so menus/pictures/live view etc are all orientated correctly when I flip the screen outwards from the camera body. However they are upside down when I rotate it through 180 (or 90 the other way it stays the same either way) and then want to have the screen facing me but in line with the body of the camera.

Hope that makes things a bit easier.

Regards

Dougy
