I thought I had set up my LCD pretty well, it seems that Photobox have other ideas.

Here are two screen grabs of a photo one as it appears in CS3 and the other I received today from Photobox.

I do not always have the same lighting condtions for editing but I think they are fairly consistent.

Just to confuse this issue even more the scanned photo looks more like the screen grab than the actual paper copy:thinking::shrug:

Any help or advice on this would be hugely appreciated as it seems to be that my photos are destined for a life on a TV and never in print!

Did you convert the photo to sRGB working space before you uploaded it to photobox?

Then it's just Photobox's normal standard I'm afraid. They do vary on quality a fair bit, in the end I gave up using them.

I have had other prints which have been great, it seems quality does vary?

Yep, that's the real problem. If it were consistent it wouldn't be so bad as I could have adjusted for it but each job could be different.
