help needed with editing, bringing out colour

hello, right after getting some pictures at BSB snetterton i thought they were ok, just lacking in colour, but i am not really that great at using these editing things

right click and open in new window to get them bigger, cant work out how to do that yet.

ok here is the picture i took



and here is one some one on here had a play with after i asked them to, cropped and brighter.

i did`t crop it, just played with the colours, is this any good, how can i make it better.

im not a expert at editing but i can'nt see any difference on the actual bike, only the grass in the background? sorry if you have im not that great at editing and also learning?

Liking the last one - colours look good and contrast is better than before, although could perhaps go a bit further

I find many shots can be sorted with a bit of curves adjustment and a tickle of the saturation..
