help needed what fit is this

can anyone help please I need to know what fitting this is ,its on a remote trigger .. so either canon or nikon ?

Most of teh higher end Canons take it. My 1 series and 5D, 7D etc all did. I think the cameras below those in teh line up use a jack plug like connector

I've always been a Nikon man, and its nothing like anything I have seen, so I will guess at Canon.

Correct. My 40D, 50D, 7D, 7D2, 1D4 and 1DX2 all used the same connector. My 350D had a jack plug.
