HELP NEEDED URGENTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

I did a Photography horse shoot for a friend yesterday, i shot in raw.

Now i know PE5 doesn't open raw (CR2 files) but now DPP is just showing an X on the thumbnail.

do you know why????
