***HELP NEEDED from TP community*** UPDATE on 1st POST

MacP, as far as I'm concerned, Billybob is welcome to cover Exeter and Cullompton - I offered since it's close to home and convenient, not out of any need to expand a portfolio, so him taking the patch is no problem to me!

Good luck with the project and to anyone getting involved.

Hi Nod,

I hope that you have not been offended in any way, but my understanding was that you had no means of transport at the moment until January-ish.
I have only covered the Cullompton veteran but not Exeter as the guy is away for 6 weeks starting tomorrow. Perhaps you would like to cover this one once he has returned home? I am sure BillyBob wouldn't mind?
I would love to have you to be part of this project and I truly am sorry if you thought I was ignoring your offer. All I am trying to avoid is cost for people in terms of time and travel, and I am just trying to minimise this as you are all doing this out of courtesy.
I hope you understand how I have approached this.
There are also other veterans in this area that will need to be covered too, once confirmation has come through, but until they have confirmed then I cannot list them yet.

Regards
Craig

Thank you Yvonne.
I do actually have someone on my 'to do' list in London, just need to check where he is and I'll get the details.
Can't get over how helpful and kind people are being here at TP. Quite humbling, but goes to show the type of people that hang out here ! :)

Hi Yvonne,

I have a guy in Barnet if that is any good to you? Might need to wait a couple of weeks as he is away at the moment, but if any good then I will PM the details for you.

:)

If you end up with someone in west London, Surrey and its borders I would be happy to help.

 Thank you very much Jim. Added to the list, and just putting out an update around the Veterans again too.

I was by no means offended! My post was intended to convey that I was happy for someone else to cover the area, although I will be happy to do what I can, although my mobility is a little limited until (hopefully and depending on Dr's advice) 6th Jan next year. Of course, that's a Sunday (IIRC) so I'm hoping I can send the application form off on the friday and be allowed to drive on the 6th as planned. Of course, I'll have to rearrange insurance (all companies involved have been informed and the car lot have told me that once I'm signed off as fit to drive, they're happy that I am, so will not load my premium. Hoping the bike lot are as sensible!)

If the veterans local to me have their own transport, we have a patch of grassland within spitting distance (not quite literally but even a girl could throw a stone that far!) that would make a suitable location - I would offer my back garden but we have a cat who loathes all other 4 legged creatures (apart from rodents which she just loves!!!). There's also some woodland within a couple of minutes' drive.

BTW, just spotted your reply to Yvonne - don't think she'll have far to walk to the chap you mention!

:):):):):) Phew ! Thanks for replying, I am so glad you hadn't taken offence, and I'll make sure that we get sorted for an Exeter shoot by you :):):):)
I hope it all goes okay for getting the license back though, that is the most important thing!
