Hi all,

You may remember this little lad

swing.jpg

He is Christian my 3 year old boy. This photo was taken six months ago when he was in remission from a rare kind of Kidney tumour. Unfortunately the cancer came back a few weeks ago in his leg and we are currently going through the second round of treatment.

Here he is now

I did a sponsored run a couple of years ago for the hospital where he is being treated and raised £48,000, a few of my friends joined me and 15 of us ran.

This year I thought I would try to get more people involved and, so far, I have 105 people raising money and running a 10km in Battersea Park on the 4th March. I hope to raise over £100,000.

I would like everyone to wear the same t-shirts with a nice design incorporating the two above photos and a comment saying something like

"Running for Kids on 5 - St George's Hospital - Helping children with cancer like Christian"

That sounds a bit rubbish but you get the idea.

I have given it a go but I'm useless with PS. Would anybody like to have a go ?

If so I have put original versions of the photos here and here

The other request is that if anybody is in the Battersea area on Sunday 4th March and could come along and take photos, I would love to have a record of the event. It would be nice to be able to stick some running shots and some group shots on a website and maybe get some printed.

I would love to do it myself but I'll be heaving my 16 1/2 stone around the park 3 times.

If you are interested in more details about Christian or the run please pm me and I'll send you a link to his website.

Aw...poor kid. I'm sure some of our more graphical types can help out with this. :)

I hope wee man pulls through OK.

I've done a very quick idea, if it appeals to you or if you want something else let me know, haven't had much time as I'm on my way to work. Depending on what colour t-shirt you go for you can get kits from say PC world that give you I think 10 sheets for about £6.99 of transfers, all you do is print the image in reverse onto the paper then place it on the T-shirt and iron away. Here is my quick version....

im sure that someone will be able to make something for you, dont forget to check the prices of stuff on Photobox, you can get these things put on there and sell them through them too, so reaching a wider audience

I hope your lad gets better quickly, and you can post a link here if you want to
