Help! My user manual is in Japanese!

I'm in dire need of help - I have just bought a Canon Powershot G9 from a website and when it has arrived both the camera and the instruction manuals are in Japanese, Does anyone know how to change it back into English - I literally need instruction like 'press this button, go down two blocks etc'
