I have two photos from a wedding, one of everyone with the bride and groom except the two groomsmen, one of the two groomsmen with the bride and groom. Bride wants everyone incl the two groomsmen with the bride and groom.

I took the two into photoshop and I think size/lighting is ok for the job - my shaky hand around the edges isn't.

Can someone give me some tips on how to make it less like an edit job?!

These are resizes of the photos, originals are too big to load.

Can you upload the originals to flickr so we can have a go at putting the 2 groomsmen into the second photo?

Quite a poor effort, just to see how it might look ... the ladies on the ends now look quite scared, so I might not bother having a serious go ;)

I extended the canvas of the group, filled with an extra bit of wall each side, copied grooms one at at time, dropped a mask over each, painted in/out bits and bobs to get it looking OK (hopefully) then copied and pasted bits of foreground and cloned to blend and cropped to 6x4.

When I get home I will upload originals. My attempts had the groomsmen in behind but I really like this look much more.

Here's a Hotfile link to the fullsize merger I did. I have uplaoded it to Flickr, but the original size hasn't appeared for some reason

You might want to do a little work on it yourself as I haven't blended the curly head too well and they both look a little like they're floating :D

I have played wit it all evening. What tool/method should I use for painting in/out particularly around faces/hair?
