Hi Folks...........can some one offer some practical help and advice please.

I need to rescue this image. I need to bring the image into focus but am not sure what is the best approach for portraits.

I have Lightroom & PS3 and I shot the image in Nikons raw format .NEF

My practical advice would be to bin it and shoot it again if possible - it's so OOF that any recovery is going to look rubbish.

If you really want to try to fix it, then this product is very good : Focusmagic

still way out of focus on the eyes not a good picture even after the software work]
as Gary says double vision.
IMHO

Both are giving me a headache, the focus is inducing double vision, even on the edit...
Wierd :)

Sorry for that, I think it could even be subject movement actually, shot in very poor light ISO 800 f6 1/10 sec

just quickly, remove haze with USM at something like 10-20% at 50-60 radius, then make image pop by increasing to around 400% at between 0.1-0.4 radius...history brush or mask for selective sharpening and some noise removal.

FocusMagic has a tool to recover motion blur that might help but without seeing the original it's hard to say if the results will be good enough. At a 1/10th I suspect the blur isn't along a single axis so recovery might not be possible.

All great suggestions thanks.

I'll make sure I don't make the mistake again !
