Hey Everyone

Just bought myself a Nikon D3100 and now im after a flash. Dont have a big budget (£70 max) so was wondering if anyone has tried both the Jessops 360AFD and the Yongnuo YN-467? Which one is better and why? Also how much worse are these flashguns from say the Nikon SB-600 performance wise?? Ill be using the flash mainly to bounce when shooting portraits indoors.

Thanks

There's not really much to choose between the YN467 and the 360AFD, personally I'd opt for the Jessops' flash, purely from the view that if there are any problems it will be easier to sort them out.

The build quality of the Sb600 is better, but as you'd be looking at at least twice the price....

I got the AFD 360 as a Xmas pressie and some of my shots were over exposed and totally bleached out. I thought there was a fault of some sort but it turns out the over exposure was caused by me having active D lighting activated on the camera. Since I switched it off I've had no further problems with it. It seems to be a good flash for the money.

had a jessops flash with a canon camera worked well used it to shoot a few weddings with . recycle times a bit slow since moved to nikon and tried a sb600 much better in terms of build quality and recycle times you get what you pay for a guess , battery compartment door snapped of the jessops .

I have the 360 for my canon camera and love it for the price.

what about the Nissin di622 ?

my mates got one and rates it very highly

Picked up one of these units last week and been really impressed with our especially for the price

I ve got the jessops 360 afd, it does the job, I did a wedding with it this autumn. as mentioned earlier the main negative is the time it takes to recharge.
