The Dell UltraSharp U2715H has caught my eye and seems to get a lot of good reviews.
At the moment though I'm just using a cheap Medion monitor (about 19-21") that came with the computer around 6 years ago. The main problem I have with the current monitor is that printed photos are a lot darker than on screen....
I've been into photography for many, many years, spend a lot of time in Photoshop, but it's a part time hobby for me at best. So I'm not looking for the cream of the crop. I just want something fairly accurate, that I can rely on. And around 27".
One thing I'm wondering, is do I need to go up to the budget of the Dell, or can I get something almost as good for half the price? I mean, let's say I spend £150, what would the real world differences be? Would the average person even notice, without getting out calibration tools and all the rest of it?
Any recommendations?
