HELP!!! LR 3.2 Displaying Images Incorrectly

Can anyone advise on the following.....

Uploaded a RAW image into LR 3.2 a noticed that the image quality is really poor. I haven't applied any changes whatsoever to the image in LR.
Here's a screenshot of what I see in LR: (both clickable to Flickr)

It may not be obvious, but his right check and right side of the neck dontr look right (sorry, I dont know the tech tern for what I am seeing)

Yet when I export as jpg and upload to Flickr, I see the following without the problem.

No suggestions?

Why would images look so bad in LR (or even viewing the exported jpg in Windows Photo Viewer), yet the same jpg uploaded to Flickr looks to exhibit much less (if any) of the effect that I am trying to explain.

My monitor is not calibrated, but this has always been the case, but this particular problem has only recently come to my atttention.

I'm running LR 3.2 64 bit on Win 7
Monitor is a Dell 2209WA
 
Did you change the previews to something other than 1:1 when you uploaded the last batch?
