Hi People ,
Does anyone know if a Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG Aspherical DF , 2004 model date will work on a Nikon D700
And D750 , F100

Sigma are a 3rd party lens manufacturer who make lenses for multiple systems. As far as I can tell that lens was made for Nikon and Canon at least.

Therefore if it has a Nikon F mount it will fit, if it doesnt, it won't.

EDIT: apologise, it seems I misunderstood the question and you were referring to firmware. Didn't mean to teach a granny to suck eggs!

With some of the Sigma lens firmware confusion, i would ask Sigma

No , I was asking will it fit and work , I'm a bit of a numpty re lens fitment , The seller has said he has used it on
Nikon D500, D200 and D70

Some 3rd party lenses will not always function correctly on D300 and D700 from experience. The age of the lens should be ok especially if like the seller says on a body as recent as new as D500.
I did have a few af issues with D300 & D700 as when the body went into a standby mode it wouldn’t wake up and AFeven though the lenses were fine on my D2H,D2x and D3.
I got around the problem by going into settings and once camera was powered up it didn’t go into sleep mode.
