Hi,

Yes that's where I got the image from, they are an hire company for film, stage etc, I contacted them for more info on it (manufacturer) but no reply :( must be top secret as it was used in a Bond film, so thought I would try on here.

Have tried PYSIS monocular in google, even tried a reverse image search but nothing, except the above company.

Ah! I thought, you owned one! :D

But if you're looking for night vision equipment, you're living in a good time. I searched some 25 years ago and prices... :gag:

Compared to that, it's a bit overwhelming to see both supply and prices of today :)

Ah ok, no I don't own it just trying to get information regarding it which is pretty much non existent :( it was used in a Bond film (was a digital camera on screen) Foxtrot have it listed as a night vision monocular (if that's what it is ????)

Thanks for your input

if you study the build quality, it's evident, it's a one-off... a knock-up? though here I feel, that's not the right phrase? :D

A dummy, probably.

Yes that is possible seeing as There seems to be no trace of any manufacturer making one.

Many thanks

John.

Ok, I'll play dumb ... what would you use a monocular for?

Same thing as a pair of binoculars only made for one eye to look through, like a telescope, that's all I know  regarding the one in the pic, if it is a real world item (not made by the prop department) I'm trying to find out who it was made by, but it seems to be a closely guarded secret, so thought someone on here might recognize it.

Cheers

John.
