Heyy guys!!

Ok i'm going to a horse show on Sat and i'm taking the camera

I'm still in the process of learning.. I'm starting a lesuire course on Tuesday on photography and i have my interview on the Monday(this coming Monday AHHH), i've never really done showjumping snaps

So wondered if you could help us out with the setting like the ISO & shutterspeed?

I just dont want to get it wrong

The place is quite dark well has lighting but still dark?

and then i'll be outdoor when shes warming up lol!!

I am not really qualified to help with settings, but i do know that you have to aim focus at the chest of the horse... well, its what i have heard any ways. I know Hacker has done some excellent equestrian shots.
Good luck! dont forget to post the ifnal products :)

Hi frankee, if shooting indoors set the ISO high enough for you to get a shutter speed of at least 1/250th when wide open. Set your white balance to Auto as this will give you one less thing to remember when moving from the indoor arena to outside, just remember to change the ISO!

You do realise you asked the same question a few months ago? Link to your previous question

personally I like at least 1/400th but that's just me :) Here's the link to Hackers previous post and a link to one of mine :)

Oops sorry i never realised (totally fogot) and i never ended up going to that show!
And thanks btw! I'll try reading that topic again

Thanks again!
