Help for Latvia trip

I'm off to Latvia for 4 days next week mostly work. I want to take my 400D with me but not sure how to pack it. What's the best way to carry it? Should I put in my suitcase or leave it in my Lowepro and carry it on the plane? Not done this before. All and any help gratefully received.
 
Take it with you on the plane. No contest really :D
 
On the plane, never let it out of your sight!
 
Carry-on, every time. Make sure you know what your airline's carry-on restrictions are, though. They vary hugely. Check and double-check.
 
On the plane for sure......:thumbs:

BA let me take my expedition 8 on as hand luggage, depends who your flying with, but take a bag that can go on as hand luggage.The airlines website should give you allowable dimensions.
 
definately take it with you into the cabin as hand luggage, remember suit cases can go missing, get damaged, etc...
don't let it out of your sight, I actually put mine under the seat by my feet. Kevin :thumbs:

plenty of opportunity for good shots there. lots of pretty buildings
hopefully it will be snowing and give you the opportunity for some real chocolate box shots. but at the moment is about 15 degrees higher than it should be and its above freezing.

if you can, go to the main Lido. Its a restaurant chain, but the main one is massive and a really good experience. they will also have a nice garden all set up there for some good shots.
