Hi

A work colleague has a Canon 70-200 F2.8 MK1, which fell and now has a wobble, it works okay (not 100% if the focus is spot on) but he want to see if it can be fixed. We took it to Fixation but have been told as they no longer hold parts for it, and neither do Canon so they cannot look at it/fix it.

Is there anyone else in London or a company the lens can be posted to get fixed?

The damage happened about 5 years ago and he has just got round to getting it looked at as he has not been using it as much.

Not sure he want to claim it on insurance, which I did suggest. So will get in touch with Alan Marlow and see if he can work his magic for a good price.

I'm not sure who @KIPAX used to have his Canon lens fixed, after Canon said they couldn't/wouldn't fix it. Maybe look through his posts.
