Help- do i need a boom arm?

Hi All,

I am wanting to do some clam lighting/butterfly and i am struggling with my interfit ex150 on normal stands.
Think i need a boom arm but not one that attaches to the wall as there is no solid brick to attach to.
Could i buy another brand of boom arm or does it need to be interfit?

Any brand, its just the same as light stands - spigot top to put the head on.

If you want a wall mounted boom arm, look at the Photomart website. They have lousy product photos that make it difficult to see the products but the wall mounted boom arms they sell are actually pretty good.

If you can manage without a wall mounted one, the Lencarta home studio boom arm is probably your best bet
