Help !!! Canon PC Driver Needed

Somebody please help

To cut a long story short myself and my better half are living with the mother in law untill our new house is ready and I am using a spare laptop I have, Problem is I forgot to install the driver to connect my camera to the laptop so I cannot take my pics off my card to view / store them.

Does anybody on here know where I can download the driver from as my software is on my main PC and in storage.

That's what I would have assumed, not being a Canon owner, is there a setting anywhere to enable mass storage device :shrug:

No this doesn't happen, All I get is a message saying the the drivers are missing at the device may not work properly. I am just trying the download another member reccomended but I have tried this before but with no luck so I am trying again just to see
 
What OS is on the laptop?
 
If it is XP,

goto Start/My Computer and see what shows up there.
 
yes that works on mine too, it shows up as drive F, just look for an extra drive as its the norm or hope the software works
 
Managed to get sorted now via the link that Davenjulie provided so thanks a lot for all the help people. I have tried this link in the past but nothing happened but all is well now
