help/advice needed plz

Looking at the image you have posted, unfortunately it is very underexposed and there is no information in the shadows to recover.
I think your only chance is if you have shot in RAW and there is sufficient data to recover the shadows with Lightroom or Adobe Camera RAW, but it does not look very hopeful I'm afraid.
 
It appears that you exposed for the brightest part of the sky, making the rest of the image including the rest of the sky under exposed.
For this kind of into the sun shot, unless you want the shadows as just a silhouette you really need to take several exposures, checking the histograms until you are sure you have detail for the full dynamic range.
Then you need to blend them either manually or using hdr software.
